What is Keepsake Threads?
Keepsake Threads creates meaningful embroidered clothing designed to celebrate the people and moments that matter most. Our pieces can be personalised with names, words, and even fabric from your baby’s clothing to create something truly one of a kind. We are a mother and daugther team.
How does the baby clothing embroidery work?
If you choose the memory fabric option, you can send us a piece of your baby’s clothing to be stitched into your design.
Here’s how it works:

Place your order and note the postal address

Send a small piece of your chosen clothing

We carefully prepare and stitch the fabric into your design
- We ship using next day delivery meaning that your order is tracked from us to you
How much fabric do I need to send?
We only need a small piece, about half a garment usually. However for longer words more will be required.
If you're unsure, feel free to send the whole item or multiple items for each letter to be different
What type of clothing works best?
Most baby clothing works beautifully, especially:
• Baby grows
• Sleepsuits
• Cotton outfits
• Stretch fabrics
If you’re unsure, you can always message us before sending.
How long will my order take?
• Standard embroidered items: 3–5 working days
• Memory fabric orders: 5–7 working days (after fabric arrives)
Please allow extra time for postage.
Where do I send my fabric?
When placing your order, we’ll send you the address along with clear instructions on how to post your fabric safely.
Will I get my remaining fabric back?
No- we have to cut into the item and feel that it could be upsetting to recieve those items back having been cut up. However if you request the items to be returned then we can do that
What if something happens to my item?
We understand how sentimental these items are. Every piece is handled with care and respect.
However, by purchasing, you acknowledge that while we take every precaution, we cannot replace irreplaceable items.
How do I care for my garment?
To keep your item looking its best:
• Wash inside out at 30°C
• Do not tumble dry
• Do not iron directly over embroidery or fabric
Can I choose thread colours and designs?
Yes! You can customise:
• The word or name
• Thread colour
• Optional symbols (such as hearts)

What sizes do you offer?
Our sweatshirts and hoodies come in a relaxed unisex fit, available from:
XS – XXL

Can I send this as a gift?
Absolutely — our pieces make beautiful, meaningful gifts.
If you’d like to send directly to someone, you can enter their address at checkout.
Do you accept returns or exchanges?
As all items are made to order and personalised, we do not accept returns unless there is a fault with your item.
If there are any issues, please contact us and we’ll make it right.
